Camembert is back.

Before screw-on jibs and flashy fiberglass volumes, climbers had a soft spot for Camembert. Not the French cheese, but the iconic insert holds that shaped walls all the way to World Cups in the 90s. At Cheeta, we believe great ideas never get old — they just need a fresh vision. That’s why, thirty years later, we’ve reinvented the Camembert with a modern twist.

12 transparent Bases. 32 Holds.

Each base hosts 20 S inserts or 12 M inserts, with 6 rotation options per insert — multiplying the possible combinations for setters. Crafted in CX PU with 14 color choices, the inserts are categorized by grip style: jug, pocket, or pebble. Delivered pre-assembled, they’re ready to use as-is or to be reconfigured for endless variety.

We’ve kept the original spirit of organic grip, but solved its limitations by adding transparent polycarbonate bases — light, strong, and durable. Available in 8 size-S and 4 size-M bases, they integrate seamlessly with our Sky-Base system to unlock true 3D creativity. The transparency brings a sleek, refined aesthetic to any wall.

Featured at the 2026 World Climbing Series in Prague or at the 2025 World Climbing Series in Chamonix, Camemberts brought their unique character to the Lead discipline, challenging athletes at the highest level of international competition.
